Engedi Fellowship is a community of Christian believers who sense they are in a 'wilderness' experience and desire more Life. The Engedi Fellowship is a Web based and simple church forum where believers can experience and extend grace, healing and the joy of the Kingdom of God to those we come in contact with. Engedi is an actual place in Israel and is a lush oasis in the middle of the desert which for years served as a respite to weary travelers. Engedi ‘produces fruit out of season’ and our hope is to be the same kind of respite for people on their Spiritual journey (Isaiah 58:6-12).
God's dream from the beginning was for people to experience intimacy, lasting satisfaction and personal wholeness in their relationship with Him. The Fall led to a fracturing of that intimacy and results in all kinds of pain as we attempt to find personal wholeness through avenues other than the one for which we were created. At the most fundamental level, to participate in the kingdom of God is to experience restoration of our relationship with God and others.
Sadly, many Christians seem unable to find this sense of community, mission, and purpose in the institutional church. Engedi Fellowship has been formed to assist in filling this void. We are a movement of people who together experience and extend the grace, healing and joy of the Kingdom of God on earth.
